    Video – HUGE UPSET: Mensah Handles Olympic Champ Dosho

    Tamyra Mensah-Stock entered the ’19 World Championships undefeated on the season. But to keep her hot streak alive, she had to get through Japan’s world and Olympic champion, Sara DOSHO, in the quarterfinals.

    Mensah-Stock scored two first-period takedowns and led 4-0 at the break. In the second period, the American picked up a takedown and two exposure points, extending her lead to 8-1. Mensah-Stock tacked on another takedown and closed out the match, 10-1.

    In total, Mensah-Stock won five matches in Nur-Sultan, claimed the world gold medal and qualified the United States for the Olympic Games at 68kg.
